SJ Dulcey Studio ships hand-designed and hand-finished items from the United Kingdom. Please read this shipping policy carefully before placing your order.

Customs, Import Duties & Taxes (International Orders)

​

Orders shipped outside of the United Kingdom may be subject to import duties, customs fees, handling charges and local taxes once the parcel reaches its destination country.

​

These charges are:

• Determined by the destination country
• Collected by the courier or customs authority
• Completely outside the control of SJ Dulcey Studio

​

The customer is fully responsible for any import duties, taxes or customs fees applied.

​

SJ Dulcey Studio cannot:

• Predict customs charges
• Mark items as gifts
• Under declare the value of items
• Reimburse customs or import fees

​

If a customer refuses to pay customs charges and the parcel is returned, original shipping costs and any return fees will be deducted from any eligible refund.

Processing & Dispatch Times

All items are prepared and dispatched within 14 business days unless otherwise stated on the product page.

Hand-finished and made-to-order items may require additional preparation time. Where extended processing applies, it will be clearly noted in the listing.

Dispatch time is separate from delivery time.

Orders are processed and dispatched Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays. Business days are defined as Monday through Friday and do not include weekends or public holidays.

Shipping Methods

Orders are shipped using tracked postal or courier services where available.

Tracking details will be provided once your order has been dispatched.

Shipping providers may vary depending on parcel size, weight, and destination.

UK Shipping

UK orders are shipped via tracked services. Estimated delivery times are typically 2–5 business days after dispatch, depending on the carrier.

International Shipping

International shipping is available to many countries.

Estimated delivery times vary by destination and may range from 5–21+ business days after dispatch.

International delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Delivery Delays

Delivery timeframes are estimates only. Delays caused by:

• Postal carriers
• Customs processing
• Weather disruption
• Transport issues
• Peak seasonal demand

Lost or Delayed Parcels

If a parcel appears delayed or lost, a carrier investigation must be opened and completed before any refund or replacement is issued.

Carrier investigation timeframes vary and may take several weeks.

Shipping Address Responsibility

Buyers are responsible for providing a complete and correct shipping address at checkout.

Orders returned due to incorrect or incomplete addresses may require additional postage payment before reshipping.

Refunds will not be issued for address errors provided at checkout.

Returned to Sender Parcels

If a parcel is returned by the carrier due to:

• Address issues
• Failed delivery attempts
• Unpaid customs fees
• Refusal at delivery

The buyer is responsible for all reshipping costs.

If the buyer chooses not to pay for reshipping, no refund will be issued for the original order.

Packaging

All items are packaged carefully to protect hand-finished surfaces during transit. Packaging methods may vary by product type and destination.

Digital Products

Digital products are delivered electronically and do not require shipping.

Download access is typically provided immediately after purchase or via email.

Shipping Price Changes

Shipping rates may change due to carrier price updates. Final shipping cost is calculated at checkout.
