SJ Dulcey Studio vinyl storage cases are functional display pieces designed for collectors. Each case is individually hand-finished and created to be both practical and visually distinctive. Because they are handcrafted, every piece has its own character and subtle variation.

Capacity

Each case can hold up to approximately 40 vinyl records, depending on:

• Record thickness

• Gatefold vs single sleeve albums

• Use of inner and outer protective sleeves

• Box sets or heavyweight pressings

For best results, avoid overfilling, as excessive weight places stress on the structure and hardware.

Structure & Use

These cases are sturdy and suitable for vinyl storage and display. However, they are not engineered as load-bearing travel cases.

While the case includes a handle, I do not recommend carrying the case by the handle when filled with records. Many cases of this style are not designed to reliably support the full weight of loaded vinyl. For safety and longevity, always lift and carry the case from underneath using both hands.

Handmade Finish

Each case is hand-painted and hand-finished. This means:

• Small variations are normal

• Texture and detail may differ slightly from piece to piece

• Minor artistic irregularities are part of the handmade character

• No two cases are identical

Surface Care

To preserve the artwork and finish:

• Handle with care — this is a decorative, hand-finished item

• Avoid scraping, dragging, or repeated friction

• Keep away from prolonged moisture and humidity

• Avoid direct heat and strong sunlight exposure

• Do not stack heavy items on top

• Do not use harsh cleaners or chemicals

Cleaning

• Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth

• If needed, use a slightly damp microfiber cloth and light pressure

• Do not soak or saturate the surface

• Do not use alcohol, solvents, or abrasive cleaners

Environment

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and applicable European consumer protection laws, consumers located in the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area (EEA) have the right to cancel most physical goods orders within 14 days of receiving the item.

To exercise this right:

• Items must be returned within 14 days of your cancellation notice.

You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty.

Where cancellation rights apply, we will refund:

Upgraded or express shipping costs are non-refundable.

Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or proof of return.

Returns must be sent using a tracked service. We are not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit during return.

We may deduct an amount from the refund if the value of the goods has been reduced due to handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

Faulty or Damaged Items

If your item arrives damaged or faulty, contact us with clear photographs.

We request notification of transit damage within 48 hours to assist with courier claims. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Remedies will be provided in accordance with applicable consumer protection law.

Processing Time

All items are carefully packed by hand. Due to demand, the current lead time on orders is 1-2 weeks, unless otherwise stated. Custom or made-to-order pieces may require additional preparation time.

Shipping Methods

Orders are shipped using tracked services where available to help ensure safe delivery. Tracking details will be provided once your order has been dispatched.

Delivery Times

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary depending on destination, postal service performance, customs processing, and seasonal demand. Delays once shipped are outside of my control.

International Orders

International buyers are responsible for any customs fees, import duties, taxes, or handling charges applied by their country. These charges are set by the destination country and are not included in the purchase price or shipping cost.

Customs fees and import charges are outside of my control and are non-refundable.

Incorrect Addresses

Please ensure your shipping address is correct at checkout. I am not responsible for delays or losses caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the buyer.

Lost or Delayed Parcels

If a parcel is delayed or appears lost, I will assist by opening an investigation with the shipping carrier. Refunds or replacements cannot be issued until the carrier investigation is complete.

All items are securely packaged to protect the handmade finish during transit.

1. Binding Agreement & No Cancellation

All pre-orders are made-to-order and production begins immediately upon order confirmation.

By completing checkout, you enter into a binding agreement.Pre-orders cannot be cancelled, amended, refunded, or transferred once placed under any circumstances, including change of mind, personal circumstances, or failure to review stated lead times.

Please ensure you are fully committed before placing your order.

2. Lead Times & Delays

Estimated lead times are clearly stated on the product page and reflect the production timeframe only. Shipping transit times are additional.

It is the customer’s responsibility to review and accept the stated lead time before purchase.

Lead times are estimates and may be subject to reasonable extension due to:

• Material supply delays

• High order volumes

• Operational circumstances outside of our control

If two pre-orders are placed, both items will be shipped together once the product with the longest lead time is ready.

Delays within a reasonable timeframe do not constitute grounds for cancellation or refund.

These renders are for illustrative purposes only.

The final handmade product may differ slightly in:

Variations caused by screen settings, lighting conditions, photography, and the handmade production process are not considered defects.

These characteristics are inherent to handmade goods and do not qualify as faults, defects, or grounds for refund.

5. Refusal of Service

SJ Dulcey Studio reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders at its discretion prior to production beginning. Once production has commenced, the order is final.

By purchasing, I confirm I have read and agree to the Pre-Order Terms & Conditions. Pre-orders cannot be cancelled once placed.

If two pre-orders are placed, both items will be shipped together once the product with the longest lead time is ready.
